Bill Seligman, the principal of William C. Seligman, P.C., brings 20 years experience representing real estate investors in debt and equity investments, at all phases of the real estate cycle. He has represented both lenders and owners in foreclosures (consensual and contested), negotiated workouts, deed-in-lieu transactions, bankruptcy of real estate holding companies, loan sales, equity recapitalizations, and other exit strategies for under-performing or distressed investments. He has represented senior and mezzanine lenders, and institutional equity investors, in equity and debt investments in all major asset classes throughout the United States.

Affiliations:

Bill has served as Vice-Chair of the Committee on Commercial Real Estate Asset Management of the American Bar Association’s Section of Real Property, Probate and Trust Law (1995-2000), and has been a member of the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association, the Mortgage Bankers’ Association of America, the Central City Association of Los Angeles and other trade organizations.
