Beth Budnick, a partner at Cassin & Cassin LLP, primarily focuses on representing lenders in the financing of multifamily properties through the Fannie Mae Delegated Underwriting & Servicing program and the Freddie Mac Seller-Servicer program, with an emphasis on affordable housing.
Prior to joining Cassin, Ms. Budnick was Associate General Counsel at the New York City Department of Housing Preservation & Development and was responsible for representing the City of New York in its affordable housing transactions, including the financing of senior affordable housing and supportive housing, conveyances of City-owned land, and matters related to the City’s inclusionary housing zoning program.
Ms. Budnick received her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from The College of William and Mary – Marshall Wythe Law School, where she was Articles Editor of the William & Mary Law Review and appointed to Order of the Coif. She received her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Carleton College. Ms. Budnick is admitted to practice in the State of New York and is a member of the New York Housing Conference’s Rising Leaders Network. She was recognized by Super Lawyers in 2023 as a Rising Star in the New York Metro Area.
